TOURNAMENT VOLUNTEERS

Each year, two teams are “on duty” to provide volunteer help to run the tournament. (This year’s teams are Park Lanes  and Music Millennium) They will check-in bowlers, collect and distribute side pot money and sell raffle tickets. 

 

Duties of “check-in” volunteers include checking in bowlers for the upcoming squad and collecting money for the side pots. Additional check-in volunteer(s) will be to sell raffle tickets for a bowling ball. When check-in closes, check-in volunteers are responsible for balancing the side pot kitties. It is preferable that check-in volunteers are not bowling in the upcoming squad, but not critical, since the duties can be finished prior to the Squad start. Five or six check-in volunteers are needed per squad, particularly the non Mixed Double squads.

 

AT LEAST 2 “Admin” volunteers are needed while the Squad is bowling. Admins will “stuff” side pot winnings into envelopes. (spreadsheet will be provided to determine amounts) After each game, admins will receive a results sheet to determine the winners of each game/category. After the “protest” time limit has expired, they will distribute the winnings. Admins can also be check-in volunteers. Admins should NOT be bowling in the current squad.

Other Admin duties: Admins will also sell raffle tickets as needed for any walk-ups while the squad is bowling. Admins may need to set up for the next squad (in Classics and Mixed Doubles 3) especially if check-in volunteers are bowling the current Squad.

 

League will provide all needed supplies: seed money for change, raffle tickets, envelopes, labels, etc.

    • Mixed Doubles Squad #1 | Friday, 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM (3 games)

    • 6 game Classic | Friday, 6:00 PM to finish (6 games)

    • Mixed Doubles Squad #2 | Saturday, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM (3 games)

    • Mixed Doubles Squad #3 | Saturday, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM (3 games)

    • Mixed Team | Saturday, 1:00 PM to finish (3 games)

    • Singles & Doubles | Sunday, 8:00 AM to finish (6 games)
